Béla Fleck: My Bluegrass Heart
At Spruce Peak Arts
Over the last four decades, Béla Fleck has made a point of boldly going where no banjo player has gone before, a musical journey that has earned him 19 Grammys in nine different fields, including Country, Pop, Jazz, Instrumental, Classical and World Music. But his roots are in bluegrass, and that’s where he returns with his celebrated bluegrass project, My Bluegrass Heart. The Grammy award-winning album, My Bluegrass Heart is the third chapter of a trilogy which began with the 1988 album, Drive, and continued in 1991 with The Bluegrass Sessions. Fleck’s band spotlights a multi-generational gamut of the best of bluegrass players, all sporting a myriad of Grammy Awards and nominations, as well as gigantic piles of IBMA awards for their instruments: fiddler Michael Cleveland, mandolinist Dominick Leslie, Jeff Partin on dobro, bassist/multi-instrumentalist Mark Schatz, and Jake Stargel on guitar.

The kids' stuff their buddy’s and once completed, SPO has markers for them to decorate the t-shirts for their buddy. They finish off the activity with filling out the birth certificate.

Discover the craft behind every great meal with an intimate, hands-on culinary workshop with Emily and Devlin Forsythe, founders of the acclaimed professional-grade German steel brand Wölfe Cutlery. This workshop is designed to sharpen both your skills and your appreciation for a fine kitchen knife. Whether you are an enthusiastic home cook or simply curious about the tools of the trade, The Art of the Knife offers a hands-on introduction to professional knife skills, seasonal preparation, knife care and holiday entertaining.
Begin with the fundamentals – proper grip, posture, safety, and knife selection – before putting your skills to work with a curated seasonal market basket. Under the guidance of the Wölfe Cutlery team, you will practice slicing, dicing, julienne, chiffonade and other essential techniques using professional knives provided for the workshop.

Stick Season Woodland Workshop

Stick Season Build-A-Buddy

Kids pick a buddy from a variety of native Vermont animals that come in a kit containing 1 buddy, bag of stuffing, Spruce Peak t-shirt for the animal, and a birth certificate. The kids' stuff their buddy’s and once completed, SPO has markers for them to decorate the t-shirts for their buddy. They finish off the activity with filling out the birth certificate.
$45 per buddy
